Walkabout Paws is a one person pet care service based in Clanfield, serving the local area. Primarily, offering dog walking but also cat and small pets visits are available.
Canine first aid trained, fully insured and DBS checked, I am currently completing
a Professional Dog Walker course at the British College of Canine Studies because
endorsement as a professional is important to me. I want you to be rest assured
that your pet is in safe and loving hands!
I follow the new professional dog walker guidelines brought into place in January
2019 by The RSPCA, Dogs Trust and Pet industry to try and maintain better standards
in the industry. A key guideline is that I only walk up to four dogs at any
one time.

What we do:
Dog Walking
All dogs, any size (as long as they are cooperative)
Group Dog Walking
Fun Group walks (up to 4 in a group) where they can socialise with other dogs
Off lead and On lead walks
I offer both off lead and On lead walks as required
Stimulating Walkabouts
Dogs are walked at various interesting locations tailored to their needs. I collect your dog from your home and they travel safely in my fully equipped Berlingo car with specially fitted dog cages
Local Solo Dog Walks
I also offer Solo walks locally walking from your home (Clanfield/Horndean)
Puppy Visits/Walk
Puppy visits while they are going through their inoculation period visit lasts. I will spend time with your puppy, feed, clean up any mess and play with
them. Puppy walk when they are ready
Cat and small pets visits
I am available in the morning or late afternoon to visit your pet at home

A little about me...
...Let's go on a walkabout
Hello and thank you for visiting my website. I am Sarah Hall who has set up the business Walkabout Paws after leaving a 21
year career as a primary school teacher. I have always loved being around animals, with both dogs and cats being an important part of my life. Indeed, it is my love and affinity towards them which has led me to swap the classroom and children, for the outdoors and four legged furry friends.
I have been lucky enough to experience the joy of dogs throughout my life, either as a family pet or through my sister's fostering and adopting of rescue dogs.
Having sadly lost my two cats of 19 years, nearly two years ago, we (my husband and two sons) knew it was time to give a rescue dog a new, loving home.
So, enter Pumpkin! A rough coated active Jack Russell with a big heart and lots of love to give. He likes nothing more than a stimulating walk, lots of ball throwing,
a heap of encouragement and praise, together with snuggles on the sofa afterwards. As a dog owner, I know the importance of finding the right dog walker and how hard it can be to hand your loved ones over to someone else.
